Serenity

God grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference.

This prayer is not just for members of Alcoholics Anonymous.  If you read it and truly listen to what it says, it gives us some very practical advice. It tells us how to get the one thing we all want in this crazy, social-media-filled, 24/7 world we live in.  This "Serenity Prayer" tells us how to get peace of mind.

(Thanks to my pastor for reminding me of the beauty in this prayer's simplicity. And, for reminding me that longevity comes to those who smile!)
